Cathy Taylor worked for 20 years as an event planner in the Financial Industry. While arranging executive functions, she fed her passion for personal service by arranging independent events, such as weddings and parties, for employees, friends and family.  Cathy chose the word Maven, which means "expert" and “to understand” in Yiddish.  It is from this idea that she seeks to serve the needs of others. 

 

Rachael Bubbs’ passion for event planning began in college, where she organized senior year soirees and other events. Upon moving back to Greater Hartford, she focused her efforts on organizing local charity events such as National Youth Service Day and First Annual Dress for Success National Catwalk.  Rachael is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and has planned numerous weddings and private events.
